About this event

This year, the Colloquium will take place as follows:

7 December: in person on-site conference day, held in a COVIDsafe environment - places are limited as per the NSW Government's four square metre rule

7 December: online live-stream of the on-site conference day for offsite delegates

8 December: online conference day

9 December: online conference day

The 28th Colloquium on Pensions and Retirement Research is co-hosted by CEPAR and the School of Risk & Actuarial Studies, UNSW Business School. It is a unique annual event, bringing together academia, government and industry to discuss the latest research on pensions, superannuation and retirement. The theme for 2020 is ‘Pensions, superannuation and retirement in a post COVID-19 world’.

Information for the online events

If you are registering for an online session, a link to the online sessions with instructions on how to join will be sent via email ahead of the event.

Information for the in person on-site event

If you are registering for the in person on-site event, you agree you have read the UNSW Conditions of Entry to protect the health of yourself and others.

The event will be held in a COVIDSafe environment. A COVIDsafe plan will be in place at the on-site event at UNSW Sydney.

The following conditions apply on entry to the premises:

Visitors are not permitted to enter a UNSW Hospitality venue if they:

  • are unwell.
  • are experiencing any cold- or flu-like symptoms (sore throat, runny nose, persistent cough, shortness of breath, fever, etc.).
  • have been in close contact with a person who has tested positive for COVID-19 (during the period of time in which the virus is contagious).
  • are awaiting the results of a test for COVID-19.
  • reside with anyone who is awaiting the results of a test for COVID-19.
  • have returned from international travel and failed to observe the government requirement to quarantine for 14 days.

All visitors to UNSW Hospitality venues must adhere to the following:

  • Watch the Safe Return to Campus video for UNSW visitors: https://www.covid-19.unsw.edu.au/safe-return-campus-external-workers
  • Check in upon entry using the QR code displayed at venue entrances
  • Maintain a 1.5m physical distance from other visitors and staff
  • Maintain good hygiene practices
  • Adhere to COVIDSafe signage and markings displayed throughout the venues
  • Remain seated, avoid gatherings
